““History isn’t just about studying the past; it’s the study of change, and it’s more relevant now than ever. Today we face the most rapid changes ever in history, so understanding the mechanisms of historical change is crucial.” ”
Hindsight is 20/20
Hindsight bias is when a person looks back at an event and believes they predicted the outcome, even if they failed to act on that "prediction." For example, on Saturday evening France will play a football match against Denmark, very fewer people are sure of the outcome of the game, but on Sunday morning, many more are willing to claim they were positive the winning team was indeed going to emerge the winner.
This is because we construct a situation where we fool ourselves into thinking we knew more about an event before it happened. The idea is that once we know the outcome, it’s much easier to construct a plausible explanation. Unfortunately, this leads us to think that our judgment is better than it is, and we become less critical of our decisions and makes us overconfident about future predictions.
“Life can only be understood by looking backward; but it must be lived looking forward.”
Better questions
Good sales questions are measured by the level of curiosity they spark in your buyer. Buyers will create a budget where none exists when there’s a meaningful-enough problem, that’s worth solving.
Why do they need it?
How is it different?
Why is it better?
What happens if they don’t get it?
“Knowledge is having the right answers. Intelligence is asking the right questions. Wisdom is knowing when to ask the right questions. ”
This level of mindfulness
My heroes have always had a "growth mindset”, believing they can learn, grow, and change throughout their entire lives. It’s incredibly refreshing to be the designer of what happens next and not being a pawn in the system. First you have to take responsibility, then you need to find an interesting problem, then you take your customer on the journey to solve their problem. Never use fear, shame, and anger to get people to do what you want you want them to do.
We all remember the saying, “failure is not an option!” and if this is the case, then neither is success. Therefore, what we need is a process that you can do over and over again. And the fuel you need for that is possibility, because if we can see it in our heads that it’s possible then it’s easier to own it. This is possible and once it’s possible then you can be responsible, and once you can be responsible, then you can build a process. Don’t seek perfection, seek possibilities.
“Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning.”

Life is short and you don’t have time to figure everything out by yourself. Now if you could just align your work with your why.
· Have you taken full advantage of the opportunities offered to you?
· Do you have habits that are destroying your health and well-being?
· Are there things that you could do that would make things around you better?
· Have you said what you need to say to your colleagues?

“Dependent people need others to get what they want. Independent people can get what they want through their own effort. Interdependent people combine their own efforts with the efforts of others to achieve their greatest success.”
The basics
Copenhagen Fashion Week 2021
“Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction and skillful execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives, the cumulative experience of many masters of craftsmanship. Quality also marks the search for an ideal after necessity has been satisfied and mere usefulness achieved.”
Reality check
This quotation has been rumbling around my head for years and it’s so true.
“It is your decisions, and not your conditions, that determine your destiny. ”
History will not be kind
Hard work pays off
“Greatness is not measured by what a man or woman accomplishes, but by the opposition he or she has overcome to reach his goals.”
Quote of the day
“We’re drowning in information and starving for knowledge.”
Knowledge is power
“You think your pain and your heartbreak are unprecedented in the history of the world, but then you read. It was books that taught me that the things that tormented me most were the very things that connected me with all the people who were alive, who had ever been alive.”

“Those who bring sunshine into the lives of others cannot keep it from themselves. ”
Thank you for all you’ve done for me
Today is my mother’s funeral.
Time is short, opportunity is scarce and the number of opportunities that we get to help somebody to find their story, that they can live inside, remember and elevate are very small.
Thanks mum ❤️
The path to excellence
“Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence.”
To see and be seen
After my many years of learning, unlearning and relearning about myself, my relationship with the fashion/lifestyle industry and my place within the system, I can’t start talking about fashion without naming the external elements that allow this industry to exist. Just like any other business, fashion companies provide solutions to specified sectors of global communities answering their needs based on the individual and collective life continuum that the community requires to coexist.
“Fashion must be the most intoxicating release from the banality of the world.”
I think fashion is art, it’s commerce, it’s function, it’s expression and what comes next will be marvellous! Fashion is about storytelling through clothing! It’s about the stories behind them and the ones you create around them. Contact me via e-mail and let me know what you think?

“Money won’t make you happy... but everybody wants to find out for themselves.”
What are you grateful for?
Dr. Robert Emmons said, “You can’t feel envious and grateful at the same time. They’re incompatible feelings, because if you’re grateful, you can’t resent someone for owning things you don’t.” When we express gratitude, our brain releases dopamine and serotonin - two hormones that make us feel lighter and happier inside. I think we experience gratitude when we move our focus from what we don’t have to what we do, and when we take time to appreciate and be thankful for those who have contributed to the abundance in our lives. The power of mystery
“Do not use your energy to worry. Use your energy to believe, to create, to learn, to think and to grow.”
The choice is yours

Everyone has a choice of how to react to their various experiences. I was brought up to be like Teflon - the non-stick version. My mother would say, “Don’t let other peoples opinion of you become your reality.” I think that it’s essential to take responsibility and learn from the experiences, and I have seen others who are clueless about what happens to them.
“Experience is not what happens to you; it is what you do with what happens to you. ”
Have a great day and learn from your experiences.
